Kate and her family anxiously await the arrival of the grandparents from Sweden at the depot. But when the train comes and goes without their appearance, Papa and Ben head to the previous station to search for them. Then a telegram arrives with scary news: Grandma is lost. Or has she been stolen away? The children rush to catch the next train to Duluth to find out and rescue Grandma.
