This is a hands-on visual for Horizon's kindergarten phonics program. However, it works well with any phonics curriculum.
This floor puzzle is used to reinforce the picture and letter associations. This is actually a large laminated sheet or poster of the alphabet with various colors of curved and zig-zagged lines. The parent cuts apart the letters down the middle of the thick lines, leaving part of the line on each letter piece. This helps the student put the letters in alphabetical order to complete the "puzzle."
