Each book contains 35 lessons as well as a unit project that ties all the lessons together. Each lesson includes a supply list, introduction to the topic, hands-on activities, worksheets where appropriate, activities to extend learning, fun facts, and biographical information where applicable. A “What Did We Learn” section asks gives a few comprehension questions to help cement learning.
The content of the revised edition is basically the same, although it is now full-color, with user-friendly graphics and some additional teaching material. The quizzes have been removed from the Student Workbook and are now in the corresponding Teacher's Guide.
