This supplemental workbook is designed for upper elementary students to introduce them to Life Science. It contains black-and-white reproducible pages with interactive activities that teach six key concepts about living things. Some background information is also provided. Any answers that may be required are in the back of the book, usually on the inside back cover.
The concepts taught are: living things can be classified by structure; what living things require; how living things reproduce; ecosystems are made up of living and non-living things; structures and behaviors of living things; and energy from the sun is transferred to living things.
