The Teacher's Guide contains the answers to the comprehension questions in the Student Text and Lab Manual exercises. There are no separate tests provided for this program; the comprehension questions and/or Lab Exercises can be used to grade the course.

This high school science alternative explores the living sea, from islands and reefs to beaches and estuaries, and all of the creatures and plants living within them. The focus is to help students understand the interdependent nature of the watery kingdom, and how we can best protect and preserve it. It is considered a semester course (one-half credit in the Carnegie system).

For families who do not have lab equipment available, this course can be done without using the Lab Manual.
