Students learn how to think through a  variety of problem-solving activities that call for deductive, inductive, convergent (given several pieces of information, come to one conclusion), and divergent thinking (given a piece of information, apply it creatively to other situations).

A variety of activities are used such as grid puzzles, pattern problems, syllogisms, and numerical/verbal/visual-spatial logic. Extension activities show students how to apply logic to everyday activities and other subjects.

A Teacher Section introduces the parent/teacher to the topics to be covered and gives background information.

Although Book 1 is designed for intermediate students, it should be used by older students who are not familiar with logic strategies. Likewise, Book 2 can be used by intermediate students who have had training in logic. Includes black-and-white reproducible pages and answer key.
